Maggie's may have only been open but a couple of weeks yet it's clear to see she's on to a good thing. This small restaurant, with a mere four tables and a friendly dog is situated metres from the ocean, in eye-shot of the boats that have caught your dinner. As the name suggests, this is a local eatery, selling simple Belizean cuisine at reasonable prices.

A meal for two, with drinks, will set you back $40 BZD - for those on a limited budget, this will make a nice change from the pricier fares on the main street of Caye Caulker. If the superb food doesn't convince you, then being able to enjoy it whilst watching the sun set over the Caribbean Sea certainly will.
